The new kids frames are modeled after AKILA's best-selling Ares design for adults, and reimagined with custom squiggly-armed temples inspired by même.'s bold wavy stripe pattern.

Each frame is constructed with 100% UVA/UVB protection, using Optical Class 1 nylon lenses with anti-reflective coating for better clarity and shatter resistance, thick malleable acetate made from cotton and wood pulp allowing the frames to be fully adjustable to head shapes, featuring custom squiggly-arms with stainless steel cores inside the frame for additional strength and flexibility, and finished with riveted metal plaques at hinges for extra durability.
