-
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm for Parol Workshop (recommended for families with children age 7+)
We'll be reading PAROL: What Makes Us Filipino, a story about two Filipino-American immigrant children sharing stories about the Parol and Filipino traditions with their friends. Heritage is identity, and what makes us Filipino is something to be proud of.
Together, we will make Parols (ornamental, star-shaped, paper lanterns) and musical instruments to bring in the New Year, while learning about all the Filipino Holiday traditions and the meanings behind them.
Make it an afternoon and come hang out with us!
Have lunch at Darkalino's with the family, make Parols with us next door at HOMETEAM GALLERY, and capture memories provided by Moment.Us photobooth!
